Introduction to Digital Art

Replay *final project

Posted in projects by kmb on April 12, 2010

For your final project, remake any artwork from this semester by incorporating new skills or ideas. You can use this project to apply feedback from critiques or to experiment with a new idea. You might …

  • expand one of your sketchbook images into a bigger project
  • turn your print into an installation
  • add sound to your .gif
  • create a light installation from a combination of projects
  • do an assignment in illustrator (instead of Photoshop)

*This “replay” is due Wednesday, April 28th. No late work will be accepted. During studio, we will have a final discussion about your artwork. Monday, April 26th will be an open work day.Take risks and have fun! Use the last week of class to re-make (or make better) any project, photoshop, dreamweaver, or sketchbook assignment. Consider (and use) the new skills and ideas you have developed over the semester.  Also, if you are making a piece that is supposed to be a print— then print it. If you are making a viral youtube video— then put it on you tube.

For Wednesday:

  • upload a link or still image to your blog.
  • write a title for your artwork and short description on your blog.
  • email me  a paragraph about how this “replay” displays your development in the course.
  • bring/install your final work by the start of studio.
  • NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED
